Vengeance was born in the spring of 1998 in Kalispell, MT.  A three piece band playing mostly cover songs with a few originals.  After a couple of rough years struggling through the local, dare we call it, "music scene"... the band soon decided that nothing was ever going to happen within the small town of Kalispell.  After transitioning through several different members, the band learned that they must overcome the lack of dedicated local musicians.  They set out to record their first album and start playing shows outside of Montana.  While recording their debut album "Sheltered", Vengeance suffered a major line up change.  With the band in ashes, Travis set out to finish the album and put the band back together.  After Mat joined in September 2003, they put together a new song called "Feel" that would take Vengeance in a new direction.  Once they got a drummer together, they played some shows in Spokane, WA and drove all the way down to L.A. to try out for the "Battle For Ozzfest".  In the summer of 2005, they decided to record their second album entitled "Strength Through Solitude".  Soon after it's release, Dave completed Vengeance with not only his style of drumming but his drive and dedication to the band.  Recently, the band had two songs featured on an underground compilation album that was released nationwide in May of 2006.  More writing and recording led to the release of the third album in June of 2008 called "The Path of Most Resistance".  Vengeance is out supporting that album while continuing to push themselves creatively with visions of bringing their music to the masses.

Travis started playing the guitar in the spring of 1996 after struggling with the drums for four years.  With heavy influences from Metallica, Pantera and Machine Head, he formed Vengeance in Feb. 1998 as the singer and guitar player.  After only a year of playing with the band, he built and fully funded "Kick In The Junk Studios".  Once the studio was completed in the summer of 2002, Vengeance was ready to start recording their debut album.  He's the contact for Vengeance and is responsible for promotion of the band.  Travis continues to push himself and the band to new heights.

Mat first picked up the guitar in 1991.  His main influences include Megadeth, Slayer and Machine Head.  As much as music is a part his life, he was never asked to play with any of his close friends while they all formed different bands growing up.  In the fall of 2003, he was asked to join Vengeance as the bass player.  His ability to play the bass completely surpassed all previous members of  the band.  Mat's role in Vengeance is vital to achieving their full sound.  He always adds a new dimension to each song with his very unique style and approach.

Dave started playing the drums in 1988, primarily influenced by Pantera, Slayer and Lynrd Skynrd.  He was born and raised in Maryland where he played in several death metal bands.  Dave moved to Kalispell in the fall of 2005 because he was tired of the "Big City" life.  After seeing Vengeance play at a local show, he introduced himself as a big fan.  After about 6 months of hanging out and through many discussions about the future of the band, Dave was asked to join Vengeance in May 2006.  He brought a much needed new style to the band with a great sense of drive and motivation.
